View Full Version : Tax time again...
Anyone ever used turbo tax?
I usually get my taxes done by a friends mom who does a really good job with all of my deductions and all so i don't have to pay anything... It costs $80 or so. I'm pretty familiar with all of my deductions now so i'm thinking about trying turbo tax or a similar software package. I would do them myself if i didn't have to do the deductions...

Haha, nice. Except for the roaches... lol.
It looks to me like the delux version for 45$ is the best deal since it comes with federal & state files...

Don't need to buy it. Go to Turbotax.com and ignore the sales pitch for the boxed software... you can sign up there and do it all online.
I've used it the last 3 years, and I'm doing it again this year. Then when you're done, you can submit it electronically.
Note: Don't click on anything that says DELUXE deduction checker at the end of doing your taxes. It'll charge you an extra $20 and you can't undo it.

I ended up buying the delux package because of the deductions i need to do. I own a home and a few other things that it didn't guide you along with in the other version...
Simple enough tho, I'm done... :)
Getting more than I expected back. Thats a nice surprise...
