well i did my 5 speed swap
:) yay!

cept i have an issue....

when i am driving in gear everything is la la great. runs great my motor mounts feel great clutch is a little loose cuz its new and i need to adjust the petal but whatever its fine in gear.
when im rolling and throw it in neutral....
it grinds shakes and sparks come out the shifter hole.
upon inspection. the sparks seem to be comming from the connection between the driveshaft and transmission.
it was a REALLY tight fit putting the driveshaft in.
as in my brother pushed the driveshaft upwards while i bolted the center bearing U cover in place.

i figured out once i got some fluid in the lines i could open the bleed screw and push the petal in and it would spray a stream of fluid out. :) so we did that to clean the lines then bled it properly

no i unbolted the center holder and let it fall
i also removed the metal guard piece to hold it just incase the center piece breaks.

knock that off, that is the issue. Take it off.

One more time, take that thing off and your problem is solved.

Huh. Looks different from the s13 trannys I've seen. The tunnel looks a good bit shorter. Maybe its just the picture.
