:wave:Hey guys i was wondering if anyone on here is using any kinds of aftermarket strut spring combos ?? I have few questions let me know what or which kind of after market struts is everyone usually go with or which kind is better on mostly all 240's ----s13--s14--??
I drive a 98 S14 Kouki, and my struts just gave up :crying: so i am currently looking to buy all 4 struts for my car. I was running Stock Struts with Megan Racing Springs (the orange ones) but now i have to get new struts so i was wondering which kind to go with or which are better for S14's.:ninja:
May be Tokico struts, i got pics of both of them let me know what ya'll think?????????

I am with RS*R Springs...decent ride...haven't dialed them all the way up or down yet. I have the fronts at 3 (4-way) and rears at 4 (8-way). Still maintains a decent ride quality. It rides more aggressive than stock but can still maintain a decent ride quality. It's not as stiff as I would like, though I'm not gonna get what I want without going with coilovers.

i run the kyb agx's on my miata.
its great for what it is.
I just threw some KYB GR-2's on the rear of my hatch yesterday, I like them. And they were cheap. I've never ran any Tokico's or AGX's, but, I've always heard that Blues and Sportlines were a good combination, but, I can't say that for sure, because I've never personally used them.
Do you plan on doing alot of adjusting with them, or are you just going to throw them on and ride out?
I always look at a purchase on how much I will use it, if you won't be adjusting things, then I'd go with some Blues, but if you plan on tinkering with it alot, get something adjustable, just my $.02.

I run tokico blues / eibach sportlines on my S14 (see in sig) they have been a very streetable and do fairly well on the track. I like them. I guess it comes down to pricing.

if you may switch to coilovers later then why waste your money now? just save up and get what you really want and be happy.

i had KYB AGX and RS*R springs on my s14, it was nice, better than stock by far, handled great it was comfortable too. Then i sold them and got Ksport coilovers which are awesome, really stiff for the street but i deal with it lol. its worth it for drifting at the track

agx runs ~$350 iirc.
if you're going to go AGX with any kind of spring setup, you might as well go with a entry level coilover system.
