I found this bolt behind where my car was parked at work today. I'm not certain its from my car, but it may be. I have no idea where it could have come from so reps to anyone who can help me.

not an alternator bolt for an sr20det.
paranoia getting to you?
:)
just keep it in your little nuts and bolt box. it ll come in handy. that is no sr20det bolt, or a nissan bolt.
at least i dont recall or the thread and size dont match nissan standards.

omg that bolt holds your engine in one piece! put it back on!!! just remove your Zimmer valve then bolt it back on before your car blows up!
Phew... close one man. You can thank me later. So much for Daves sorry ass. Doesn't know what the hell hes talking about!

lol i can picture it.
Looks like the motor mount bolt from a front mount on a Civic/Integra, er from a G20.
I want to say Honda though, one of the more recent clutch jobs I did had one of those bolts, but I cant remember if it was on the Sentra or the Honda.
But if I recall, its not from a 240sx.
Hope that helps.
I'm gonna go with either an alternator or A/C compressor bolt... mine kinda look like that.
Wait, where were you parked...? :ninja:

i thought it looked like an Alt. or AC compressor bolt, but i think some of these guys may have taken apart and reassembled these things a few more times than i have so maybe i'm wrong.

I was wondering why my belt was squeeking so bad, and yesterday when i went to change the belt out i found that the bolt that the alt pivots on was missing. hmmm. i wonder where it went. I guess i'll never know.
