Installation was a cinch(ka24de), all hardware needed to install was provided. Took all of 30 minutes to install. One thing is if you want to use all the washers they provide you will need a longer bolt to attach the bracket, no prob, i just didnt use the washers.

Initial start up was some what smoother yet the same. The car seems to accelerate smooth as hell and the idle is smooth as well! There is definitely some added ponies as i can spin my tires relatively easier now. The sound is really throaty, but i cant tell whether it is coming from the exhaust (stock until tomorrow:() or under the hood but you can definitely hear it.

If you are modding on a budget this should be something that can be had for less than $100 and actually be felt!

Thx Z1MS!

It's been a year now and so far I've noticed that the filter is beginning to deteriorate. I've been cleaning it with kn cleaner. Is this normal?

Good question, it seems to be similar to kn filter material.

Omg why do people buy shit hole filters? Spectre, hks, greddy, anything that isn't a k and n or apexi are shitty ass filter.

Who knows the the Z1 Filter is a K&N style, it is the same cotton gauze and uses K&N oil, it's not a cheap filter
