I bought a clifford alarm from some one off of IA like a year ago and am now wanting to install it but when i found the wireing diagram i said fuck that. Anyone know of a place that will install an alarm that has been taken out of another car and was not bought by them?
It might be hard to find. I used to know of a guy that would come out to you and do it.
I could do it tho :). (as long as it doesn't have a demobilizer)

no it dosent have a demobilizer.... from looking at everything it looks like a pain but it would be wll worth it.... I might sell it. I dont know. if not then we might have to have another late night car install

Sounds good man. Its not really that hard just time consuming...

dannng
um i got a question about my viper alarm
its just a viper 300 or something
older
two buttons
the first question is that my door locks stopped working randomly after i bought the car... it might have something to do with the programming but i have no clue where to start... does anyone know what could cause this?
the button on the keyless doesnt work and the car switch on both doors doesnt work... the instal looks professional... zip ties and proper splices... but i dont know what wires does what...
ill stick to audio junk...
but um second question is why only one button does crap on my keyless...
ive been manualy lockin the doors and then engaging the alarm afterwards
Your best bet would be to start by checking all of the connections from the brain of the alarm. Something may have come loose. There is a small chance that something inside the brain is fried but thats much less likely.
About the one button thing, are you talking about the stock keyless or the viper's buttons? Either way it's mostlikely a loose wire...
Do you have the manual for the alarm? If not you should be able to find it either on vipers site or just by googling...

Hmm. Try hitting up one of the guys at a best buy installation bay.
They might do it for free? *shrugs*
Or have flip do it :)
Heh, we would have to make a day out of it... I'm good but not by any means fast :P.
