Well I got dyno tuned today by turbo dave. He is really fair. they charge 100 per hour for piggybacks and 140 for standalone. Mine actually took about 1 hour 45 minutes but he just charged an hour. He is a cool guy I'd recommend him. Plus he got my car running awesome.

what setup do u have?? he charged u only 100? do they need O2 bung on the downpipe or can he use that long thing they stick into the exhaust? did u contact him personally or u went to mainstream?? did u havd to get an appoinment? any info would help a lot....

I contacted mainstream and specifically asked that turbo dave do my tuning. Then I just set an appointment up. I don't think u need the O2 bung because he did stick the long thing in the exhaust.

actually Sammy knows and does tuning when needed. when we books the dyno, he goes there and preps the car, sets it up, monitors and tells the tuner exacly what and how he wants it, personally with all his customers cars. he, per-say doesnt have the controller in his hands but he knows it all. its not his dyno so he doesnt really touch the controllers, out of respect and thats how he is, but he will help set all the parameters with the tuner...etc. in another sense, yes he pretty much tunes them and no he doesnt punch the buttons. he tells them what to punch and how he wants the A/F to be etc..

until he gets his own dyno, we will start doing it. but there are no plans yet... :)

he doesn't get all the credit for tuning, the tuners is bad ass themselves.

I charge $500 every 30 mins to do it.... and I'm pretty quick. Takes me about 5 hours to get it just right. So come on by!!!

Do any of you tune ECU's? No standalone or piggy-backs, just an ECU tune like JWT and Entaphly (spelling?). they have pretty good tunes out of the box, but need fine tuning for max performance.

Im calling mainstream performance in 15 minutes when they open, hopefully i can get my car tuned today. I finally got some money, hopefully it doesn't cost a shit load.
