break noise only in reverse???

when I put my car in reverse the back left makes a kinda scubing noise. I was told by a buddy it could be a bad caliper.....is this correct? Please share any kind of input. Thx

mine was doing the same thing so i changed out the brake pads and it went away.

yea, its a fairly normal problem.

if you recently got pads or just dont want new pads yet then put some brake quiet on the pad hardware. its basically a gel lube that should temp stop the noise.
