Suspicious truck looking at my 240.

I live in Acworth very close to Woodstock and I was helping a friend move today. I came home and when I pulled in the neighborhood a truck was going by my 240 with a car dolly and as I approached he hauled ass away.

My 240 is on a trailer in the street right now cause tomorrow I'm taking it to Tiger Racing, we had tried Fri. and failed so we left it on the trailer out front. He didn't have the equipment he need to get my car off, he had a car dolly and my car is on a trailer and it would be really hard to get it off. So I pulled the truck out behind the trailer and I pulled the civic in front of it.

The truck was an 87-97 (8th/9th gen) Ford F150. Single cab, short bed, 4x4. RED with a camper top and a white car dolly with blue fenders. Wasn't registered but I don't know if dollies have to be registered.

The truck was in great condition looked like it was off the showroom floor. Just saying, you may want to watch out for this truck! And no, I haven't called the cops, I have no proof. It could be a fluke, but I don't see why he got spooked when I drove up. I live in a small neighborhood and the cars in it are very recognizable and I have never seen this truck before. Be on the look out!

Ok also, I just heard from my brother. A mexican guy was looking at my car yesterday and talking on the phone. When my brother went by he turned away. So more than likely, this was an attempt to steal it. Mexicans around here are always stealing cars and that f150 was a typical mexican truck. They love the f150s and silverados, I'm not profiling, I'm just being realistic.

The thing about car thieves, jewel thieves, art thieves, any kind of thief... if they want something, they will get it. They are on the offensive, you are on the defensive. If that truck truly was a cruise by and they are casing your car, they made their first move already, and you retaliated by basically putting it in plain sight that you know they are there and you are defending your property. Which means they will do one of two things: They'll leave it the f*ck alone and look for something easier to grab, or more likely, they will simply double their efforts.

You said the car's on a trailer because you're taking it to a shop soon... I would get it there as soon as possible, cause I'd hate to come on here in a day or two and find out that you're out a car AND a trailer because they did their homework and came back and took both. And your Civic. :(
