what are your goals with the system and whats your budget? tell me and i will tell you the perfect system, i consider myself a pro in this department lol
I personally want somthing functional, crisp, and light weight so im going with 2 sundown e8's with a fiberglass box to get them mounted in the rear speaker deck. for the front im running eclipse 8062 component speakers. im just gunna run some small fosgate amps 500rms x1 and 100rms x2 (not because theyre the best or the best quailty) but because they are stable, dependable amps and are local and within budget.
and no im not having this conversation over email, just in case someone else needs the info. thats what a forum is for...expanding public knowledge.

honestly if your on a budget hit a local pawn shop. thats what i did just look at a few and take your time you will find a good setup for a decent price. i got my 2 kenwood 12's in a box for 85 and i got my poweracoustics 1250bamf for around the same price and if you really want i have some boston acoustic door panel speakers. you might have to get a frame fabed up but if you know any one who does wood work they can make one in 10 min with the right tool. and a 1/4 sheet of mdf. i highly recommend going on ia and looking for lovinmydodge he has helped me out alot nd could build you a custom box and could even get you some deals on speakers. he is a realy great guy and does it cuz he loves it and not to make money off people. he will prob just charge material and a small labor charge. but yeah anyway like above stated it depends on your budget.

there is a pawn shop down hwy 78 around the corner from stone mountain that deals in ALOT of car audio. they have at any given point a good 20+ woofers.
if your budget is high enough any system is possible.
if you want weight minded systems. you would be good for something along the lines of a fiberglass box with a single 10. ported of course.
the overall weight will be maybe 25 pounds of the box and sub. and will still play loud enough to really fill up the cab.
as for an amp. this is an expensive amp. but one of the best made amps on the market PERIOD.
the amp is called a ZED Leviathan.
its a 6 ch amp. that puts out some power in a very small foot print. no bigger than most decent sized 4 ch's.
BUT you can run your entire system off this one amp. 2 subs, 4 door speakers. really you can run ALOT more as its power is amazing.
AND its got the capability of being a true sq amp.
now the amp starts around 600 bucks. BUT considering you would look at buying a monoblock, and a 4 ch to run your interior speakers. 600 isn't too outrageous.
still pricey but well worth it.
