E Brake

ok, so the gear looking thing that holds your e brake in place when you pull it up, came off on my s13... so in order to lock in my e brake I have to put something underneath the handle to hold it up.. does anyone know how hard it is to fix this? I know I will need to take apart the console.. but I dont know if I will need to buy any replacement parts. anyone have any ideas???? anything will help, this is a quite annoying problem!

bump... any help?? just tried taking it apart and honestly cant even figure out where the gear thing is supposed to fit in.. haha i can see how it should go but dont know how it does lol pain in the butt

I had the same thing happen to me on my s13. I would put it back together but it would end up breaking again after a couple of days. If I remember correctly, I ended up using JB weld to put it back together. After doing this, I never had a problem with it again.

Yeah I had to play around with it until I could figure it out.. you can maybe try looking at someone elses who has an s13 and go from there.. its not to difficult but still a pain in the ass.. gl..
