since you guys know how to tint them, how do you get the corner lights off to get to the head lights?

On what? Zenki?

There are two bolts on the fender, and I think one bolt that holes the corner to the headlight. I donno. been a long time since I had a Zenki.

oh yeah it would be a zenki. i cant get the corner off. i saw the screw but you cant get to it

on a zenki you have to just pull corners out once you get all the screws out. there's a little clip that holds them in. it's like a ball joint kinda thing, but not really. it's hard to explain.

For the corner lights: if you have to take off the bumper to get them off you need to just get it over and shoot yourself in the face.
Step 1: Open the hood
Step 2: Look at the top of the corner light (from inside the engine bay)
Step 3: There is a small screw that attaches an "L" bracket from the corner light to the headlight. Remove that screw.
Step 4: Pull the corner light out (away from the car, from the outside)
**If it wont budge, stop, pull the thong from your vagina, and pull like a man** If it breaks, God invented JB quick weld for a reason.

Nope. Just the nipple ball joint thing, and the little top screw.

I saw on some maxima sight once where a guy took some 97-99 tails apart and was able to remove the orange part and then he cut up one of those translucent covers from a drop-cieling light fixture to put back in. Sound gehtto but he pulled it off and it looked ok from the pics.

My point being that hatch taillights are a dime a dozen and trying this on a set would not break the bank if it failed miserably.

And I don't think its illegal. Maybe if you get pulled over for something else the cop could be a dick. But I doubt you would get pulled over for just the lights.
