This morning I met up with a guy who wanted to trade his 240 with my Civic. It went so well. He wanted my car like I wanted his. Anyways, I managed to learn a stick in a day. Prior to this I've driven a stick maybe 3 times, each time were in a parking lot. I drove it all day today and chilled with my buddies.

Specs: ?

89 chassis hatch
91 kade
catback exhaust (i'm so glad it doesnt look ricey, and it sounds DEEP)
Apexi intake
Koni adjustable front sus.
Koni stiff rear sus.
Short shifter

I AM A HAPPY MAN!!! and the lifelong project begins...:cheers:

Tomorrow I will be working on replacing the timing chain tensioners and/or lower guides/maybe chains also.

P.S. Komi, I would've traded with you if I never saw this car. Sorry man.

I will post pics soon. Got to wash and clean the car up a bit. :D

Haha, wow, the other guy got a nice trade. No wonder he liked that Civic, its worth more than a grand more than that S13.

Nice hatch, better body than mine, but it would be a cold day in hell before I would trade a 98 Civic for a 89 240. Trading a $3200 car for a $1800 car -1.

Btw, if you already have Koni's, just buy some Sportlines. Dblock on here has a set of GR-2's with sportlines for sale, if your in the market for some.

S-Techs are pretty nice, great ride. But I've seen them do some weird sagging before.

The civic hatch was auto, 226k miles. And no one wanted it. But i think i got the better deal outa the trade. I'm happy! Dblock has a set of sportlines for s13? shit...i'm a need to get some money, quick!

Carlova, there's a lot of smoke because it cold outside, or the car isn't to warmed up.

Yeah, he has them with GR-2's. if you keep your Koni's, Ill go in half with you on them and get those GR-2's. Or, I have some Skunk2 springs I'll sell to buy his (My rear shocks are blown at the moment)

loud exhaust gets annoying when you realize theres no one to show off to while driving daily... thus it then becomes uber annoying.
im about to put my stock s14 rear muffler back on. its semi-quiet but its still annoying as anything.

I love the way my maxima sounds, all I have is a Y-pipe and it has just the right tone. no drone under low rpms and sounds mean in the highs. But then again I like the sound of your exhaust too. Come to the HS meet! check the thread son!
