Is this even nessecary in the SR20det? I was reading the manual for my ebc and it says that you should have an Air/ Fuel Guage when tuning the settings. I also heard that its not even nessecary to get one unless you have a wideband 02 sensor or something like that. I would like to know if anyone that has a boost controller recommends getting one or if its even needed. or if i were to get one do i need a wideband? Thanks

so is it safe to start tuning the controller before i get this? I dont want to damage my system. I was hoping to run at least about 14psi but i know fuel delivery has to be taken into account and i dont want to run too lean or rich or whatnot. This is my first experience using a electronic controller and since i have done alot of research i dont want to risk damage if i can prevent it by asking questions u know.

definitley get that wideband before you start tuning and turning up the boost. Not knowing when you go lean or rich can bad, I'd stay on the safe side.

PLX is the most reasonably priced one out there, which is in the above link.
