i relocated the battery to the hatch in my DA9 its very easy. just use 4 gauge power wire and connect it to the wire that connects to the + on the battery. then run that wire all the way back to the trunk where the battery will be located and connect it. also i ran a blade style fuse with an amp rating of 225.

as far as the intake id have look at it to give ya some advice.

I put my battery in the trunk. I didn't get a box, but I am using a optima redtop so there is no leakage or fumes. Ran the + gage wire under neath the car and to the lead on the starter. I cleaned up the wires in front of the fuse box as well since they are no longer needed. The - gage wire is grounded to the trunk where I stripped the pant off both sides before bolting it down. After wards a couple light coats of paint to keep it from rusting.

If you need some help, hit me up. My dad's is where I usually work on my car on the weekends and is about 25 minutes from athens.

Through the car just takes more time, not necessarily any more difficult. I have an s14.

Remember copper wire is expensive now, and you would also need a way to hold the battery down.
