View Full Version : Stolen Greddy Exhaust
Last night someone decided to steal my exhaust. They unbolted the muffler half and left the part that attaches to the cat. It was a Greddy PEII exhaust, which isn't an exhaust you see every day. Keep an eye out in the classifieds/craigslist for me. I go to GCSU and I live in Milledgeville.
Here are some pictures:

I have a feeling it was some jerk college kid that thought my exhaust was a joke.
Thanks guys.

I know, that's what pisses me off most. That's why I think it was some jerk that has something against imports. I know it's a fart can, but it's a damn expensive fart can. They went through the effort to bring tools to unbolt it, which makes me think they knew what they were doing. I don't know what to think....fml

Do those things come with serial numbers? If you have your documentation it may have a s/n that will make identifying your shit that much easier.
I hate thieves.

There might be one on the Jasma seal. My little jasma certificate is back home, so I'd have to check. Plus, I wouldn't be able to see if it's on the exhaust, so that wouldn't work. Haha.
Yea, you don't realize how shitty thieves are until they steal something from you. I'm so pissed...
Thanks bonez.

Not that this helps but I will selling an invidia N1 muffler or whole catback if you need another exhaust. Sorry I know the wound is fresh and I feel for ya.

What I'm saying is, if you spot what looks like your exhaust, the s/n will confirm and then you can commence with the curb-stompin'!

I'm either going to get a muffler shop to make a straight pipe to hook on to the part that is still there, or just put my stock exhaust back on, so I don't attract attention.
@buccaneer - oh, I gotcha. Yea, I know exactly what it looks like, so i'd be able to identify it. Not many people have this exhaust around if i'm not mistaken.

I doubt i'll do that. I just drove how it is after the part being stolen, and it is so annoyingly loud. I would kill myself if I had to listen to that every day. Haha.

I have a viper alarm on it, and I go to college so I have to park in the student parking lot, unfortunately.
Yea, i'll just have to keep an eye out. I'm going to go look in the dumpsters near the parking lot after class. haha.

I wouldn't straight pipe it from the cat, it'd still have the resonator and stuff. Haha. Besides, i'm not going to do that. Forget I said that, I was just thinking out loud

when you referring to someone on twitter theres an @ in front of thier name. lol
good luck finding it. that kid would be such a fag though.... laying under your car and unbolting your exhaust and then throwing it away.

Thanks! Yea, there are pretty much no 240's around here, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone just had a stick up their butt or something.

I can't do that because mexicans in isuzu's are too busy rolling into me :mad_pirate:
I'm back home putting my stock exhaust on, and I just found out something that made me laugh. The thief's socket was stuck on my cat bolt. His whole socket wrench broke, and he tried to steal the whole exhaust. I hung his broke ass socket from my tow hook. I hope he sees it. Haha.

if you want to be real hi-tech finger print....
p.s. thats why you weld your exhaust on less potential for leaks and no one can fuck with it or steal it unless they bring a saw and power source.
Yea, I thought about the finger print, but I don't think they do that kinda stuff. Yea, but it makes it a pain in the ass to take off if you weld it as one piece.

Is it really worth it to get it fingerprinted and whatever to try to catch the thieves? I don't think so.
anyways..
what are the chances they brought it up to ATL?.. any possibly suspects??

Your guess is as good as mine. I was called down to the police station to check the cameras and you couldn't see squat.

It's a good thing that they didn't took the car. 240s lock are shitty , 10s to get it turn.

p.s. thats why you weld your exhaust on less potential for leaks and no one can fuck with it or steal it unless they bring a saw and power source. That doesn't work either... The exhaust on my old CRX was welded from the header back. I was banging this girl at the time and spending the night at her apartment. Some damn thieves came and hacked every aftermarket exhaust on every car in the entire complex in one night. My exhaust wasn't nearly as nice as the Pantera I parked next to.
Gated community and all.
I just went ahead and put my stock exhaust back on and painted it flat black. Haha.
