I'm curious, why does everyone on this site want a LONGER shifter? Everyone usually wants to get it shorter...

easier to grab when your drifting?

also i absolutely hate tiny shifters, theres a diff from a short shifter(where it changes the pivot point) and having a shorter shifter

I want one of those long e-brake handles. This looks pretty sick too

Well yeah, that's why you don't just cut your stocker. The short shift kits have shorter shifters with a different pivot point.

I mean, with drifting, you're not shifting any more often than you would in autocross or road racing. I know that it'd take less effort with these because they're essentially a longer lever, but it's a longer throw.

some short shifters literally make it shorter like the one with the z

Yeah I didn't mean to "dis" the product or anything. I really was just curious because I've never seen people want to lengthen their shifters before.
