easy outs suck.... i hate using them lol. they failed in getting out a broken exhaust stud. I ended up borrowing a 30k rpm air dremel and some titanium drill bits or something like that and drilled the center of the stud out till it was so thin that the outer edges collapsed in. then use a magnet and voila.

what brand did you try ... i only use mac or snap on in my tool box the other cheaper stuff rounds out to easy or just simply is brittle , and does nothing.

yeah, i suck at using easy outs, but my dads a PRO! it pisses me off at how easy it is for him to do it, but me? it takes forever and i just break em. i have a tap and die set, its a cheapy set from advance, but it works well when i need to use it. its def. a good tool to have in the garage
