ok i suck something FIERCE at driving a manual. I can do it, but its ugly. my taught me a year ago in an accord. i havent been in one since.
can someone teach me to drive a manual 240? ill cough up some gas money and all that good stuff.
i feel like a real wimp with my auto lately lol
I would if I didn't blow my motor last week :).

ummm....yeah, not on the STi.
I wouldn't have a problem, but I just learned manual myself...heh. Bought my car on August 13 and I let my girlfriend test drive it while I rode (listened to the engine/tranny sounds).

Medically, STI is the new terminology for STD... it means Sexually Transmitted Infection (wiki explains it!)

Its not even easy to drive for experienced drivers... I have people tell me all the time that they've driven stiff clutches before and they'll have no problem. Then they stall it 3 times trying to get it out of my driveway :).

Its not even easy to drive for experienced drivers... I have people tell me all the time that they've driven stiff clutches before and they'll have no problem. Then they stall it 3 times trying to get it out of my driveway :).Wow, it's really that challenging? Is that for the STi only, or on a Impreza/WRX too?

you can drive the bimmer... welded diff, fully stipped, no powersteering, race shifter. :D but its fairly forgiving... lolzors

it gives you a good idea of what kind of power it holds / how aggressive it is....
it wasnt nessesary to look up how much torque it holds... its just a way to tell someone its a racing clutch.

yeah the stage ratings are dumb
things to look for
amount of pucks
usually a 3 puck will hold nearly double that of a 6
and a significant amount more than an oem replacement.
pounds of torque is a good way to compare them.
once you get farmiliar with a brand of clutches. then an easy way to compare them is by the stages.
