I know they never made 4 lug Z32 rotors, but my car is 4 lug and I want to install the Z32 brake setup on my car. I am just wondering where I can have the rotors drilled to fit. I thought about doing it myself but I am pretty sure it is a delicate procedure. Thanks for any information in advance.

I know I need to redrill I am just wondering whats is the proper way of doing it? Will a machine shop know the proper measurements or is this something I can knock out at home?

^ if you give them the measurements they can knock it out.

ive been told its not to hard. i havent done mine yet, but it doesnt look hard. get an old hub, take all but one lug out. use one of the 5 lug holes on the stud, turn it over and drill the other three holes using the holes in the hub as a guide.

FYI, when I researched to do bigger front brakes I had planned to stay 4-lug. I was told I could easily get them redrilled at any Machineshop. So when I was turned down by the third shop(Not so easy!) I looked into drilling them out myself. I did not have a proper drill press so I just sourced out a shop that sold the rotors predrilled for both 4-5lug patterns. FastBrakes.com out of Arizona.

Wont those z31 rotors hit the caliper?

i did mine with a hand drill. lay a 5 lug rotor upside down on top of the z32 part, bolt one hole together and mark the others through the holes of the 5 lug part. use a punch with a pointed tip and punch the center of each mark so your drill bit won't hop off center and go to town. even if it's not perfect it's not a big deal, the hub centers the rotor anyway.

tools needed.
drill and small bit and step bit
old 4 lug hub
hammer and center punch

knock 3 studs out of an old hub and set it in place.

Then use center punch. If you dont have the correct size a smaller one anda 10mm socket worked for me.

use a small pilot bit, and drill.

then use the step bit I used a smaller one.if your holes are not dead on oversize a bit.The rotor is hubcentric so no worries.

and check it and done.easy stuff.

I bought mine from Enjuku. They are 4 and 5 lug pre drilled so that if you decide to do the 5lug swap you dont have to buy new rotors. They are drilled and slotted and zinc coated. Nice and well worth the money. Pluss you dont have to worry about fucking up new rotors on a drill press. Stroker and spyro helped install them and can vouch for the quality.
