I know its a honda.... lol... but... well my pulley system got messed up in my accident and its eating through my belts.... Looks like maybe just the auto tensioner pulley but I cant be sure. I really don't feel like taking it to a shop bc the cost is a lot more and well don't feel like waiting the time for it.

Anyone familiar with the engine or its workings and such.... probably not much different than anything else but the engine does have to be lifted more than likely. Just bought a brand new belt yesterday and its missing a rib like my old one now. Driven the car 3 times since the belt has been changed. But it got ripped up from the 2nd drive (to work today).

I just did a 6 speed swap in a 98 accord. J30 motor. Piece of cake, what do you need done? Your post really didn't ask a question.

I'm not sure what exactly is cutting up my belts.... I think it might be the auto tensioner pulley but dont know.... the pulley looks like crap. How hard would it be to diagnose... and repair?

Hows the electrical part of that going? Typically a known issue with 6spd swaps before 01. SHould have gotten the guy to do a J32A2 swap too kickin block, which can also easily be converted into a 3.5L engine then ;) That was my plan.

most of the time its because it isnt lined up or there is a sharp knick on the pulley somewhere..
