The sliders are seized up... the boots are torn...

So I'm wondering if that's my issue with the rear brakes being sticky...

I've swapped the calipers, but now that I'm noticing these sliders are seized up, I'm thinking maybe that's the problem?

Not sure if that's technically possible or not... need expert advice.

And if this is the problem, I'll need a new bracket without a torn boot right? Any other way to fix these?

Just remove the slides clean them up and grease them. I had some seized once and put on new pads and when i pulled off it snapped the rotor in two lol.

HOLY FUCK?!

That's crazy. Snapping rotors and shit.

Okay, so I guess I'll pull them, take some steel wool, get them nice and clean, and then grease them up.

Yea when i pulled off i felt some resistance but not much but as soon as i hit the pedal the tire locked then the rotor broke.

I bought new pins to replace my seized ones. they weren't expensive.

^ Where'd you get them, and did they have new boots also?

I got them at auto zone, yes they have the boots but sell them separately -_-... but they aren't expensive either.
