I took the back seat and all the stuff in the trunk and the back deck cover off and now I here a rattle from inside the trunk. It rattles whenever I hit a bump. It's really annoying and I can't get it to stop.
If ya have any ideas post um' up I'll try just about anything to get rid of it.
p.s. I have coil overs and upper tie bars if that helps.

hmmm
probably rear subframe.
try doing subframe spacers / inserts.
id get bushings in the reear aswell...
if youve got a vlsd it could be clunking. but you can FEEL that through the whole car...
so its just a rattle?
like metal on metal or plastic on metal?
i say check rear suspention/
Back when I had my S14, my trunklid would rattle. Try taking a piece of rubber thats about 1/4" or 1/2" thick, and put it on top of the rubber stoppers that are already on the trunk. I used weatherstripping from an old car I had, and it worked like a charm.

let the dude out of the trunk.
let the dude out of the trunk.
lol. Yeah I'm saying trunk lid too. You can always do something like get a wash rag, fold it over a couple times and close your trunk on it to see if that stops the rattle. Then if that does, extend the rubber stoppers... That will just help figure out if it really is the trunk before you go out of your way to fix something thats not the problem...

Ya, I tightened my latch, raised it some, lowered it some... It sits great, pops fine, just rattles a little bit. Just want to replace the bump-stops now to see if that fixes my slight rattle...any idearss?

Seriously man, just super glue some rubber to the lid where the bumpstop meets it, ghetto, but it worked.

Sweet it worked I put some rags in their temporarily and it stopped the rattle. And the funny thing is that I didn't even have the rubber stoppers. (Imagine how bad that noise is with no rubber stoppers at all. LOL) So I'm going to go get some from Nissan. Thanks alot it sounds soooooooo much better.
