Dyno Numbers: 93 240 w/s14 sr20

I finally got the car tuned yesterday. I took it to Mainstream Performance. It was running really rich.

It dyno'ed at 7psi. Im really happy with the results. I hope to be at the drift event next weekend & I might bring a friend with a GTO!!!

We moved the boost up to 12psi and the car started spitting so im just leaving it at 7 for the moment. he said the spark plugs were spaced too far apart. so i would have to re-gap them

i remember, when i was back home in malaysia, where there will be a protest for building another damn mosque in the neighborhood, other religions hated it not because of the religion, but because they are too noisy, praying five times a day over the loud speakers. ...man i wake up 5am everyday coz it goes off.....

well, yeah for right now im gonna stick with the 370cc injectors butNext time I work on the engine im going to do 550cc and the t2871 cause i heard that turbo is awesome!

Once thats done ill up the boost and will be looking to get around 300hp and 300tq.

What should i gap my spark plugs to???? i forgot what they told me...

it made over 400 ish with your "rich" setting.... ours was richer. but you dont want that tune for a street driven car.. i was just being silly.

when we install head studs and head gasket, i m sre the turbo will make good power and power band, about 430-470 around 21-27 lbs of boost, which is where the turbo is use to. or you could just drive it at 17lbs at 300-350 whp. and be done.

when you order, tell them i sent you too.

I took it to mainstream and they couldn't figure out what it is.
Has anyone else had this problem? Can i get anybody to look at it?

It doesn't have one at the moment. I will be putting a manual boost controller in next week. Is $40 a good deal?

fuck no, you're just starting to mod your car, get a profec b the ole school joint, they're like 100bucks. put a manual boost controller on it if you want your boost to spike and pop your bottom end. get an electronic boost controller or we'll cut off your fingers =] if you're getting 550's , you might as well get a z32 maf, cause your stock maf is gonna be your next limitation at about 265rwhp. i'm running 550's and z32 maf on my car and no problems. also ask Turbo dave to make your car a blow through set up then you can boost and let off and the car won't wanna die =]
if you follow this advice you should probably be right at 300rwhp @ 17-18psi on pump. good luck

i have the same sound at 4k rpm its a loud ass buzzing sound....same turbo...

ok, so i think i fixed the noise. it was the brace that connects the engine to the alternator (i think). the bolt that connected the brace to the alternator was missing. so i just took it off. hopefully thats ok.

i got new sparkplugs today NGK BKR7E-11 and gapped them to .30

also i should be getting a profec-b this weekend so that i can up my boost.

cant wait to get that running about 12psi. i think it should be about 250hp
