My friend wants to know how to do the "sleepy eyes" system. Do you cut the brown wire from the headlight switch button on the dash that you take out or is there more to it then just cutting the brown wire ? I heard you have to take out the relay. I know it says it on 240sx.org but I am too lazy to go search for that. Lol.

Nobody likes sleepy eyes anymore. Waste of time. Do a S14, S15, or Silvia conversion.:D

i actually like the later generation 300zx headlights.
with some mild modification, they will fit on an s13 in place of the ghey flip ups

i love flip-ups ans sleepy, but the easiest sleepy eye i do is take the fuse out of the fuse box thats for the headlight switch that way you can use sleepy eyes 24/7 with the lights on or off, step two is pop the hood and beside each headlight is an adjuster and adust it to the sleepy eye level you like......
you may clap now. :D

I put a button in so I don't have to do that damn quadrupletuplet click of the button thing. Pull the fuse and turn the headlights on and you're good to go!

You cant see with sleepy eyes on at night. It shines the lights at your bumper.

I cut the brown wire and do the click click thing to make em sleepy, and I have a toggle switch hooked up to my headlight motor fuse under the dash so i can have my lights on when sleepy. that way my lights will function at night.

My experience with sleepy eyes is pretty shitty, to be honest.

One motor was slightly slower than the other, so after realizing that and driving around like a loser for a week or so, I ripped the wiring out and just let them go back to being normal. I like flip lights anyway....but then I got hit and had to change the front end...but that's a different story.

i cut the brown wire so i just double click... fully adjustable. higher/lower but you can just take the fuse out to keep them sleepy at night??? i also am getting a bright set of long thin fog lights and actualy taking out the headlights and the actuators so that i will constantly have sleepy eye, but also have light shinning on the road instead of the bumper. just putting the fog lights in place of the headlights after i adjust teh sleepy eye to where i prefer it

that sounds good...

Edit: do you have pics or link for those fog lights you're talking about?

Heres another way, without cutting the brown wire.. u can if u want but not necessary.
I've done it and it worked wonderfully. adjustable with a flick of a switch. light on and off with a switch. groovy.
