Just when you though you've seen a demolished clutch

So, myself: Wes, and James: Maxima278, went about putting the new clutch and transmission in the Saab 900 we recently picked up tonight. Bought the car with no clutch feel whatsoever, and James went to get it, and in turn, tore the transmission out, haha, so, I came by tonight to go ahead and start the swap. We expected the clutch to me pretty shitty, but, not this shitty.

Now I've pulled a lot of transmissions and did a lot of clutch swaps in the past few months with the shop I've been at, but I have never seen a clutch this bad.

So, I'm taking the flywheel to get it resurfaced tomorrow.
If anyone knows any good shops that can resurface one in the Athens/Winder/Gainesville/Commerce area, let me know.

hott damn, that shit was fucked, yeah this one guy i know tore the clutch out of his civic when he was driving cuz he downshifted from 4th to 1st tryin to go to third, i guess he sneezed or something but yeah he missed 3rd, and i mean damn, it was broken in like 3 spots.

i ve seen one totally disintegrated into dust. pulled out the tranny and all thats left is alot of dust. clutch center still on shaft.

as in

no round disc anymore.

yeah there was a lot of powder coming out of it. I can't believe it ran as long as it did. It alledgedly ran fine until 2 weeks ago.
