I thought the bubbles were a gelatin thing....

All I know is that when my mom tried it for the first time, her expression when she sucked up the first bubble was priceless. Needless to say, I drank the rest of the tea.

Consider yourselves lucky; there's pretty much only one place to get bubble tea in RI, and it's in Westerly...which means it's almost in CT. :(
