brake fluid leaking [Archive]

car stopped fine on Friday night, got in it this morning and pedal went to the floor, checked and I have no brake fluid. ahh, banging head now... so any ideas on how to fix the brake fluid leaking all out?

find out where it is leaking from!

Check each wheel for fluid on the inside of the rim, And check the flex lines too. If there is no fluid check the master cylinder. If you still can't find fluid pull the Master cylinder off of the booster and check back there. Sometimes they leak out the back.

i am at work now so when I get home I have to check out the leak, i am going to clean it good put some fluid in and see where it is leaking from exactly. I am thinking it is the master cylinder.

master cyl is like 30$ new, one of the cheapest components in the system.

it is the master cyl, the cheapest I have found is $50 so I have to get it ordered today, no one has it in stock
