Does anyone know where I can find the rear brembo brake set for 350Z? Does anyone have any experience with an installation on to a 240...i.e. brake line connections and fitments with stock SE wheels?
I know Enjuku's cars were running them at Formula D this past season and I'm just wanting more information on the swap.

any particular reason you want this setup?
if you're not going to make good use of it, dont bother.
it'll cost you an arm and you probably wont even make use of it completley.

It looks better than the stock 240 rear calipers and rotors.

We all drive in Atlanta traffic on the Interstates...I'll eventually make good use of them.
As far as price, I could luck out and find a wrecked track model.
How many track model Z's out on public roads actually make use of their brakes completely?

I just need the calipers...if I could find a set at junkyard it wouldn't be too bad. I can order new pads and SS lines.

what in the fuck are you saying?
looks better? wow..
we all drive on the interstate, you're gonna do that much of heavy braking to the point where you need bigger rotors so you get less fade?
how many track model Z owners downgrade to base brakes because it's such a high upkeep? ALOT.
you're doing it for all the wrong reasons.
give up.

actually ive never seen anyone down grade the brakes on Track or Touring models.... they either keep em stock or do rotor and brake pad upgrade...if anything every one wants to have the brembos on their Z...
the brembos arent the greatest things in the world. ur acting like hes getting a Rotora BBK or something. calm it down some

its upgrading for stupid reasons.
im trying to save him from spending unnecessary money and time.
i've read of where many people, not car enthusiasts, downgraded their brembo to save because the rotors/pads were high upkeep.

Do you already have a front brake conversion?

links to this.....
if that true they have be pussy as drivers then......its only high upkeep if u buy factor parts from nissan.....
my mom still using the same axxis pads that came with her Stoptech BBK.....they seen thousands of highway miles and a track event. not to mention the mountain driving put on them....

Ok...I made the interstate statement out of sarcasm...I do apologize if you can't pick up on it.

LOL...now that's funny. You got a person that will spend $35k+ to get a track model...then turn around and spend $500 to downgrade to base model brakes??? Why not just save $5k get an enthusiast model with leather seats and navigation. Yeah, I really believe ALOT track model owners do that.
you're doing it for all the wrong reasons.
give up.
For christ sake, I didn't intend on buying them straight up brand new. If anything, off someone parting them out or a wrecked Z. It's not like they are 14" rotors and 4 piston calipers. It's not like it's a Rotora or Project Mu BBK.
The post was asking about fitment and installation...NOT whether YOUR opinion about it being a good reason or not.
+1 for failing to keep the thread on track.
Do you already have a front brake conversion?
Yeah, I have a Z32 setup on the front.

That's your response for hijacking the thread? Nice...well, I'm done here. Any mod feel free to delete this thread.

lol.
I did, now as far as brackets being needed for the rear or not...I now know. Though, nothing turned up about clearance for stock SE wheels or and special circumstances with brakes lines...and I didn't feel like Google'n it.
Again, I reiterate, any mod may go ahead and delete this thread.

Yeah, for now.
Thanks for letting me know where I can find the info.
No disrespect or anything, you could've just told me to search zilvia in the first place. I have searched there since your post, though I had to register with the site, and found all the information I wanted to know. Again, thanks for letting me know where I can find it.

Stock brakes on a 240 aren't as bad as people make them out to be. They will still stop you fast enough. Even with stock SR it's pretty good because of less weight, but if you are just preparing; I can understand that. I recommend just getting 300zx rear brakes or just keep the stock ones and put some Brembo rotors with Project Mu pads.

I've read too that a good set of blank rotors, good pads, ss lines, good fluid is sufficient.
But if you're getting them in preparation, I guess you might as well.
