Hey guys Just letting you all know that, NICO Club, is wanting to have the most participation out of 240 owners, or any Nissan for that matter this year at Nopi, and Greg (CEO, AZhitman) wanted me to spread the word on this forum that he would not mind at all if, for those of you haven't registered, to register with NICO for the Nopi show. It's all about Participation and having a great time! Plus not having to walk 2 miles, and getting to chill with 100+ Nissan owners (hopefully if you guys will register :P ), what could be better? It would be great if we could at least get a couple 240atl guys to head down in support of Nico!

Thanks Guys,
Cameron

Heres a couple threads' of intrest having to do with the event on the Nico site. Seriously lets at least get a couple of us going with them. there good people.

lol, it dont matter what the car looks like, my cars barely more than stock and im registered with the basic car show. its not about that anyway. Its more about participation, and having a good time. trust me no 1 will flame you for bringing a drift scarred or just plain out fugly 240 and put it in the car show. haha

If you'll look in the first post, theres info on hotel reservations that Nico has been staying at for a while now every year, and last year someones head went through the ceiling, so yea I'm sure you would have more fun there. :D

but heres info on awards for most participation and entry stats, lets not let speed for sale take it. Nico's owned that place for the last couple years.

Argh, I just registered about 2 hours before this thread was posted. If I can find someone else to drive my 240 that wants to register to park inside, I'll register under NICO for sure.

I was a tad late signing up 240Atlanta as a club so we're not on the list this year unless I can pull some strings.

I'd really like to meet all the local NICO guys.

is it the same price if we register than if we were to just get tix at the gate? or, if i have 4 people, can we all pile in and get in cheaper?

Cameron.

haha if you register, you get 2 tickets 1 for driver and 1 for passenger, but idk if its cheaper than regular tickets, but you do get to park inside the gates and feel special.. and thats what the trunk cover is for in this case :toung:

Hey guys, first of all thanks for helping us out on NICO. We really appreciate it. I want to clear up a few things regarding registration, especially for those who have never been to Nopi.

When you register, Nopi sends you two tickets plus a parking pass to park in the infield. The price is $95. A single 2-day ticket is normally $55. Therefore, for every 2 people that go, it's cheaper to register a car--any car, and get 2 tickets and a parking pass.

You don't *have* to have a Nissan to register under Nico. I registered a Ford Explorer this year (tow vehicle) under Nico. If you register a non-Nissan vehicle and choose Nico as the club, it gives you an option of parking with the manufacturer *or* the Nissan section (which will be run by Nico).

If you plan on going with more than yourself, register a car. It doesn't even matter if you don't bring your car. Do it for the 2 tickets (it's cheaper anyway). If you don't bring your car, the registered vehicle still counts towards Nico's car count, so it still helps us.

We also don't care if your car has dings, is primered, has a flat tire, or runs on biodiesel. Any registration helps. I'd rather see 100 dirty rusty B12 Sentra's than 10 pristine R34's. It says more about our passion than our wallet.

Also, for everyone who registers, we give away free food. So you can go pay $10 for a burger in the vendor area, or register your car and get free food all day long from us (and ice cold beverages).

Finally, I want to mention our Friday night meet & greet. I'm not sure if this site has anything planned yet, but if not, you guys should join us for dinner Friday night. We have reservations at the Roadhouse Grill in Morrow for 50+ people. We're expecting closer to 100. This is our 3rd year there, and they treat us very well. This year the manager I made the reservation with even said he remembered that we were a good group, and they'd be happy to set us up again. That's hard to come by on a Friday night near AMS on an event weekend. More info on that can be found here:
http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/265552

Thanks again guys! Just ask if you have any questions. I'll try to answer them.

It would be $220 at the gate for 4 tickets. Or you can register 2 cars for $190, and get 4 tickets and 2 infield parking passes.

Tickets to get inside are by the person, so even if you have 4 people in one car, you still need 4 tickets and at least one parking pass.

And people wonder why NOPI has the highest turnout of "ugly" cars, rice, and what not.
Not bashing on them or anyone... just pointing out the facts. Still fun times... not sure I will be there this year though. Money is tight and have lots of rearranging to do with the house for all my brewing stuff.
