Where you put the hole in the firewall to run a heavy gauge power wire for you amp and crossover?

If you have pictures please post them. I'm trying not to damage anything important.

Thanks for the help!

Just find a rubber grommet on the firewall and run it through that.

I used the hood cable grommet, or something like that.

What he said.. If you take your driver side wheel off and take off the the 3 or so screws that hold that plastic piece to the fender, you will see a little rubber grommet that you can put a hole in for your power wire.. I ran a 0 gauge wire through that hole without any problems so you should be good with whatever size you use..

that or you can buy grommets from home depot and drill a new hole.

No point in drilling a new hole if you already have convineint access points.

Thanks everyone. Drilled a new hole in the fire wall on the passenger side which is the same side the battery is on. I had a couple of grommets and some water proof filler to seal the hole. I now have music that hits! Tinted my side windows too but I'll pay someone to do the back, too many curves. I have to post a couple of pics when it's done.
