well,
i recently got into a minor bumper-bender.
all i thought was ruined was my bumper and fender... but upon further investigation....
my top rad support seemed to have been crinked.

anyone know where i can get this straightend out for decently cheap?

or if you can do it at home.. lol that'd be even better. :)

I don't know of anyways to do it at home because as far as I know the process involves checking the frame to make sure it's straight. I'd just take it to a local body shop and get a free estimate done.

you need a new rad support. only way is to drill the spot welds on the old one and weld the new one in. odds are the frame is damaged as well which means you may need to spend some time on a frame straightener

i plan on taking it down to an actual collision expert and getting it checked out..
of course, if its more than a grand or so.. i'll be just buying a shell and swapping all my parts over :)

*but.. it drives fine without any shakes or anything*
most likely going to take a comealong and pull it here and there until it lines up.. lol

Roswell is SO far :(
how far into roswell is the person @ the bodyshop ya know, slowrolla??

we replaced one in my friends s13 without having to re-weld anything.. the bolts holding it on are definitely more solid than the spot welds..

oo really?
haha
hm.. maybe.
i adjusted the hood latch and got new headlights..
seems to line up decent.

looks like the driver's side got pushed in, although it looks otherwise/perfectly fine.

anyways.. if anyone has a straight rad support for cheap.. i wouldnt mind taking it off you guys' hands :)

The guy connected to the building at Finishline has a frame puller. You might try talking to him. I can see what it would cost to do something like that next time I'm up there...

1. Obtain a chain with a couple hooks on the ends.
2. Hook radiator support or another bent object.
3. Take other end of a chain and hook it around a tree.
4. Crank car.
5. Put car in reverse.
6. Don't back up too far.
