LSD Out of an Infiniti

I am new to the 240's, and I heard a LSD can fit right into a KA24E from one of the Infiniti Cars, can somebody please tell me which car ?

the J30 VLSD is what most people use.

depending on what year the diff came from you might have to also get axle's to fit the bolt pattern on the output shafts and you might have to swap out the rear cover depending on whether you have an s13 or s14.

recently i've been hearing more about how a q45 diff can be made to fit but it requires a bit more work.

j30 works.
if you get 6bolt axle outputs, its straight up bolt on a s13.
s14, you have to switch out cover.

if you get 5bolt, it'll be a pita to find 5bolt axles.
i currently have 5bolt axles.
it was a pita to find both of em.

year doesnt matter,
but i think 96-98 had 6bolt.
anything below j30 had 5bolt.

they're all the same though.
even the ones with abs.. just cut the abs line and use it.
it should be fine.

unless you want to suffer with the 5bolt, from what was posted above.
so go with the 96-98 j30 to save yourself the torment!
that's what i'm doing as i have an S13 and dont want to have to suffer over the 5bolt issue, since i have more suffering to come with my project.

I have a j30 diff and the 5 bolt axels were beefier than my old 6 bolt ones. But other than that change the rear cover for an s13 and you have an un-abused vlsd.
