KILLSWITCH PERFORMANCE SHOP & WORK REVIEW


I got my car towed to killswitch June 2, 2009 and it had many problems…..
The problems I knew of where fuel pump not priming and my car was not starting, it didn’t even turn over.
Tyler gave me a huge discount on labor and parts, He knew how much trouble I had gone through to get my car running and how much money I had (not a lot at all)
PROBLEMS KILLSWITCH FOUND AND FIXED:
Fuel Lines Backwards
ECU not fully plugged in
Fuel Line Leaking at FPR
No Oring on FPR
Missing Brake Booster Hose
Low Coolant
Coupler on Throttle Body not tightened
Oil Leak from Oil Filter Relocation
Coolant leak at Thermostat housing, screw used to hold it on (Tyler attempted to fix it but it was too messed up)
Bad Ground Cable
Fabricate Throttle Cable Bracket
Wire Fuel Pump with Relay (because my wiring is so fucked up)
Tyler didn’t even charge me to Replace Thermostat Housing
Then we found out my Alternator was bad and tyler helped me all day free of charge to find a working alternator
(we ended up ordering one)

Tyler (killswitch performance) has been such a big help….They stayed till 10PM two nights to help me, They helped me several times each consuming several hours free of charge.

There is not a single shop out there that would go so much out of their way to help a struggling customer.

They are great people and killswitch is a amazing shop.

I hate when people bitch about killswitch because they aren’t satisfied, all it takes is a call to tyler and he will resolve everything.

While I was doing the swap at home I got help from tyler over the phone several times even at 3am.

Killswitch tops any shop IMO, in overall customer support

I want to know….What shop possibly lets a customer work on his own car at the shop?? (this was a one time deal but still)


and so on....


Tyler even took the power steering pump and the alternator off of his own kouikcoupe and gave it to me.

He is a true friend and a great guy, i have never been disappointed by them

For the past week tyler has been letting me use the shop and tool and his knowledge free of charge.....

Matter fact, tyler do u happen to no where I can get a wiring harness for a Sohc and throwout bearing? These are some of the parts I need right now before I can get mine running

TOB I would just get new, autozone.

SOHC wiring harness I have. Pm'ed.

I have been very satisfied with KSP. Tyler has opened up his shop to this forum several times("Install days") and charged nothing. Extremely knowledgeable on motor/tranny swaps. If you have seen Tyler and/or Carina in action you can tell they have a real passion for this sport.

James after reading your review/post it sounds like you owe Tyler your first born. LOL. I am glad to hear you got your car back on the road.

His alternator broke. Not a huge deal, much better then the motor, or him wrecking. ;)
