Full face, but as a potential FD competitor you should already know this from reading the rule book and tech requirements...

right?

dude if you have to ask this question the only formula D thing you should be worried about is when the next one is coming so you can spectate. Not trying to be a dick but think about it

You cannot just decide to "compete" in formula D.

You need to work your way up through the Pro-Am I believe..and place HIGHLY in national events and you need the means to travel. What I think you are reffering to was Not Formula D..It was just Pro-Am drivers who happened to be driving at Road Atlanta that day..its not a "division" of formula D. Is that right ?

You haven't even practiced in a grass roots event or any points series. (Neither have I, Just saying)

Yes for single runs, as long as it is DOT approved. Not sure if the new tandem rules allow for non full face helmets.

I seem to recall someone bringing up helmets before..and it was stated the helmet had to comply with certain years of DOT certification..IE helmets so many years old did not qualify.

When I was read some of the rules and regulations it sad nothing about full or 3/4 Iit said that it jus has to be. Snell and dot approved.
