or forum members to do a swap?? Would like to get a quote or assistance with a RB25 swap with mods to produce 300-350 reliable horsepower, and also a RB26 with RB25 tranny to get same horsepower, also whom to use for the purchase for the engine?? Also would like to keep my Ac and heat with swap I am assuming this can be done as well.
Thanks in advance.

ok first of lemme just say lol RBs are not reliable lol i got an RB20 u can get an rb20det motorset for about 1200 and i can help u install it for like 200 bucks i mean ill do wiring and help u get it running cause u can use ur driveshaft and everything else just get a fuel pump and a bigger radaitor ok and an rb20 u can make 350 on stock internals so yeah ok now
RB25 yeah they have 50 extra hp new and have more displacment but u can get a motorset for like 2500 and u still gotta pay someone like 1600 to install so ur looking at like 3500 plus u need a driveshaft and u gotta get some other stuff modded wiring alot harder and u still can make 300 on stock internals ok
rb26 first off lol do u have about 10 grand to spend on modding parts wiring install laybor ur better off swaping a 2jz into ur 240 but yeah its a GTR engine so what but its a detuned race engine and if ur looking for 300-350 rb26 swap is a waste unless ur looking at 500 plus so ur better off getting a rb20 and letting me help u install it i can do almost anything on rb20s i had to expericane it on mine lol plus u dont have to pay a shop 1600 for install too so ur best bet is rb20 i got one and love it btw everyone i got the HG undercontroll lol iam back on the road

I think what he's talking about is that he's already made up his mind...he doesn't want an RB20. If i could afford a RB25/26 i wouldn't either. Its no offense to the cleanliness of your swap, its that you've only done 1 and not on the motor he wants and you've had a lot of problems (whether or not they are your fault). Dont take offense, he wants to pay the extra 300 dollars to KNOW he's gettin the best of the best which, from what i hear, is what tyler is.

Where did that come from? I don't think he read your post because you never punctuate anything and your post is one extremely long run-on sentence. Honestly, you would come across much more reputable if you used correct punctuation and actually typed words out. I don't think he meant to diss you in any way. It was a long post and I would probably get a headache trying to read it. I'm sure you've done good work with your swap and the RB20 does look clean. It all comes down to what the person wants.

I agree completely. I haven't really heard much about the RB20, but the RB25/26 is a great engine. I went SR20 because that is exactly what I wanted. It's great to have choices on swaps. Tyler does excellent work, and I can't wait to have my swap finished. I'd pay the $300.00 and have peace of mind knowing that Tyler done a good amount of swaps.

I actually heard HD and Lowes pay good as hell.
$10 flat starting off!
That, imo, is great.
Especially for chillin in the HD store.. but if you become the propane boy or the cart or even the garden boy, you're FUCKED. HARD. IN THE ASS.

It was so grreat that it blew a rod out of the bottom of my block on the wat home two exits form the track....LOL
And now I am calculating what swap of replacment motor to put in...LOL So the story of my Sunday was fab, I actually did great for my first time I got around a circle course fairly well , havent yet mastered the transition yet but time will tell. I need a bit more seat time and I should be looking a bit better. Diff worked great had to replace a rear transmission seal at the track but other thatn that and my Block blowing up it was great fun, am erneestly waiting to get quotes on motors to be put in so i can go do it again...LOL:bump:

there really is no BEST SHOP.
Best thing you can do is come up with a realistic budget and go from there. FIgure out what motor you need an go from there.
Some local shops are:
Batlground
Killswitch
TopHat
Topspeed

Heh glad the diff worked out for ya. I told ya you were leaking tranny fluid :P. Did you check your oil before leaving the track?
KRINEDOG

topped it off just before leaving actually put some gear oil in it to thicken it up, as it had rod knock bad before I left the event. So I was just waiting for it to go BOOOOOOM... and poof up in smoke.
Tranny wasnt that difficult, just went up to OReilly and got a rear tranny seal and some gear oil and fixed that issue.
