Night event? That sounds like a lot of fun, actually....and a nice change from "First car off at 10:00 am....but you have to be there by 7:30 to register." I wish I lived in GA!

depend on which region of SCCA, some allow you to pre-register online.
Atlanta region allow you to do so.

You just need to pick up your registration, and inspect your car before tech close.

No one AutoX here ? hmm...
This is good opportunity to show your driving skills.

I looking for a co-drive.
Event for non-SCCA member is $40
I can work something out if we co-drive ;)
Never tried miata. 50/50 RWD will be interesting.

do you stay for the whole event? i dont know how much seat time there is usually.. interested.

"Seat time" depends on the course, number of people, and number of runs...I had 5 runs last time and was in the car for....no more than 7-8 minutes total, the fastest runs of the day being 59-60 seconds long. My heat ran over 90 minutes long, since there were so many cars, but I was near the front of the line so I finished my last run 30 minutes ahead of the last car.

You stay to run in your heat, and also for heat you have to work (chasing cones, timing truck, grid), unless you work something like registration and don't have to work during the actual event. I highly recommend it, so you can leave as soon as your runs are over.

A stock Miata will be C-Stock class. If you have a co-driver, you'll be there longer, just so you know.

ok.
we can shoot for heat 1 and heat 2.
(work one, and run the other)
What time you have to go to your party ?

i have bachelor parties every other week coz i keep telling other groups of friends i m getting married, so they throw wild parties for me.

no way i am getting married yet, they just dont have to know that now.

i ll call to find out.

That website says Novices are running in Heat 2, but working Heat 4. WORK REGISTRATION if you can (email the Chair of Reg to see if you can), that way after Heat 2 is over you can leave.

You can preregister online (only till 12pm tomorrow!), but you pay there. You can also register there, but be sure to get there early if that's what you intend on doing. Non-SCCA members pay $40.

It says that you register/check in at 4pm And tech is open at 4:15. You only get about an hour to do both of those things, so you have to figure that even under the best of conditions, you'll be there from 4pm-9:30.
