Lane (aka Dammit) is awesome! I spoke with him about a month ago regarding insurance for my FC and he gave me a quote for full coverage plus added value for mods n' such, something I have had a hard time adding in the past with my current provider (GEICO).
I got a quote from GEICO for the same coverage yesterday and not only did I go through a ton of BS just to get a straight answer about pricing and coverage (especially for aftermarket parts coverage), they ended up not even offering full coverage since the car is 20 years old! This is on my perfect, no ticket/no accident driving record, and Im 29.
The icing on the cake was the fact that they automatically added liability to my policy for the FC without verifying the change with me first. This spoke volumes to me about their idea of customer service, and made me doubt how well I would be treated in the event of an accident or claim on my policy (something Lane warned me about GEICO in the beginning, too).
At any rate, I got with Lane today, worked through the details on the vehicles I needed to cover, and got legal in no time at all. The coverage is exactly where I want it, and he took the time to go over every option so as to not leave anything up for questioning. He even made sure I received any and all discounts I qualified for, which ended up saving me over $300/yr off my original quote.
