View Full Version : can't bleed the brake
i'm doing a 300zx brake swap front and rear into my s14 and when i bleed the brakes,,,it's leaking from the front caliper and i change the new o rings from the front and still won't bleed right...wat's the problem,,,can anyone help me with this,,,thanx

Sounds like to me you arent getting any pressure in the system because you have a leak somewhere.

tighten up the bolts that connect the lines more...my rear one was loose, and squirting out fluid lol
thanx guys,,,it's leaking from the front caliper where the small o-rings from the caliper,,,i try to replace it again and still leaking,,,

What o-ring are you talking about?
when i took the four bolt to hold the caliper together out, there's 2 small o-rings,,,i think the master cylinder was mess up when i bought it used ,,,i don't know if the NA 300zx or the TT will work,,,
i think my last problem is the brake booster cause air is coming out of the booster when i step on the brake,,,cause i just change out the new tt master cylinder,,,all the brakes line is not leaking,,,and still air inside the fluid,,,so hopefully the booster is last,,,thanx guys for the advice,,,
I think you fucked up that caliper when you took it apart.

I don't understand what he's trying to say.
I know he has a problem bleeding his brakes, but other than that.. really difficult to read.

and if the seals are leaking on the caliper, take the caliper apart and re-do the seals..

make sure you have the calipers on the correct sides

The brake booster has nothing to do with air in the system. So, that is not your problem.
