500 Members!!!

We've finally hit 500 members! Congrats to turbology for being our 500th member. I wish I had a prize or something :). Maybe a free windshield banner for your car if you want it.

We've grown so incredibly quickly and I really like the direction our site is going. We've had a few bumps and tiny bits of drama but I think we nabbed it pretty quick... I think thats what sets us aside from most other forums. Thanks to everyone here for helping to make 240Atlanta such a great local community!!!

If anyone wants to give their input on the site from an outsiders perspective please go right ahead. We want to make this forum the most liked, visited, well organized, and reputable 240 site in Atlanta or anywhere for that matter...

I can get you a ride along with many of the local drifters. I personally would tell you to ride with Sammy... He's insane and its awesome. :)

I haven't noticed any problems with the database being slow... Everything loads nearly instantly for me. I can look into it tho, do some cleaning up of the DB...

Not that many, we had one probelm with one person signing up under multiple names but it gets nabbed very quickly... That is the only instance. Either way the numbers say 500 so its time to party! :)

I don't have traction control in the first place. But I agree with you. It depends on a drivers skill. To a certain extent sometimes. Drag racing= Best car wins. Track racing= More skilled driver wins.

Yeah, it's sitting in the garage at the moment. It will blow at any moment though. It would probably make one good pass on Road Atlanta, and the blow apart the crank shaft afterwards.

Yeah, I'm getting rid of it. Car payments along with insurance are becoming too expensive. It's a fun car, but I'm not financially secure enough to hold this car and pay other things that are more important. I'll buy another one in a couple years probably though. It really is a brilliant car, but too much of my money goes to it for me to be able to live comfortably. Right now I'm just looking for one or two people to room with so I can go ahead and get an apartment or town home. And I am not taking it to Road Atlanta. I was just giving you guys an example of how close the engine is to going out.

That kinda thing is tricky... More members is good but I prefer a tight knit community. Once we build a strong community we'll see where we can go.
