ok, so im almost done doing my first fiberglass piece, and its of the rear deck, i guess, i cant figure out anything else to call it. but where the old carpet was and where i had my old speakers, it just looked crappy. so i took it out, made a template of it onto mdf board, then made some rings. then i wrapped it with some heavy duty fleece, added some fiberglass mat and a lot of resin, now im just finishing shaping it up. my plans for it are to wrap it with vinyl, or paint it.

i would love to help you with a dash. no, its really not that hard, everyone just makes it out to be hard. really, you just have to know how to mix the hardener. so you have decided to make a fiberglass dash? sweet. like i said, i would love to help out you and anyone else. oh yeah, this was my first, as you can probably see, it still needs a little more sanding and bondo. the reason i sprayed it is so i could see all of the small things that need takedn car of. so yeah.

yes, i actually do have some leftover fibrglass and resin, i actually didnt use that much, and i am planning on making a custom dash as well. make a few gauge hubs like in the old 240z's. i will probably try to replicate the dash setup thats in my 71 240z. i love the setup of it, and it provides a larger array of gauges. should be fun.
