ok, so how can i tell which goes on which side for the front?
r32 brakes.
it matters. you want the bleeder valve to be on the top of the caliper so you can bleed the brake properly. put the caliper on the according side so that the valve is on the top.

brake bleeder valve is that metal nipple that sticks out of the caliper right?
and it sits on top of the caliper.
should i be pointing towards the car? or towards me (if i'm looking at it)

Metal nipple that you can screw and unscrew.
It doesn't matter if it's in or out as long as it points up.

see that little metal nipple sticking out? right now i have it pointed towards the car, when it is installed.
looking at your picture, the right side should be up. and yes, it should be pointed toward the car. toward the car and on the high side.

he means points up as in its on the top of the caliper not on the bottom, it sounds like its installed properly to me

yeah, when i installed the calipers, it sits on the top half of the rotor.
so i guess i did it right.
someone find me a stock picture of an R32 skyline brake set up..

If the bleeder valve is towards the car, and on the top of the caliper, you have succeeded.

No hate. Brakes are very critical, and should be installed 100% correctly for the safety of you and others.
Congrats on the upgrade!

Like 99x said, better safe than sorry when it's something as important as brakes.
Mmmm 4 pot calipers.

so now I have to bleed the brakes...and get a BMC...so it petal won't be that mushy.
you don't HAVE to get a new BMC unless yours is shot, but it does help. When I upgraded to z32 brakes, i didn't upgrade my BMC. I ended up having to replace it a couple years later, and when I did, I went with a BMC out of a auto S14.

Use DOT4 brake fluid if you're boosted. It handles the added heat from the turbo better than standard brake fluid.

You could always just get some Wilwoods, they've got 4 bleeders so it doesn't matter what direction you mount them. lol Glad it all worked out. If you want the best brake fluid bleed it out with ATE Super Blue, its the only fluid I have at the shop.
