okay so I have a pair of z32 calipers that I had powder coated a while back and did a rebuild kit, so I finally went and installed them. I went to bleed them since I have speed bleeders and they are spraying between the caliper pieces ( the 2 pieces that comprise the caliper). i cant remeber if there was powder coating between the 2 pieces but I dont think there is.
It is doing this on both any ideas of why this would be happene=ing?

no, but i did find a four leaf clover, so i figured luck would be all i need.
im a little confused about the question.
Are you saying it is leaking around the piston?

As far as I know but I guess I am going to have to take them apart and double check

No it is not leaking around the piston but where the two pieces actually meet together, well at least what i can tell since I am doing it myself and dont have someone pumping the brake for me

I dont have an actual picture of the the caliper but look at the red line, then think of the top of the caliper and not the bottom. Make sense?

Try tighten the bolts that hold the calipers together. but not to tight. Maybe check that they are torqued properly.
The same thing happened to me.

Are you sure the seals where the caliper halves mate together are still good?

Well I am going to pull them apart and see if I can figure it out, I did the rebuild and everything seemed good but we will see.

I would try to reseal that part of the caliper.

With what?

With what?
I would just use either some high temp ATV or some of the same stuff that you would use to seal a motor off good.

I needed to replace the o-rings between the 2 halves

Do you honestly think RTV will seal over 800psi? If any 2 piece caliper is ever leaking there is a problem with the seals and the only way to fix it is to replace the seals. You just have to be careful to lube the seals and make sure they stay in place or they will get cut and leak.
