I think the problem with High School is the lack of time. We feel like we're grown, maybe too grown even, by this age. Due to society, and media, of course. And we want our freedom. I want to be able to come and go at my leisure, and do as I please. With high school, and the restrictions placed on us due the repetitive schedule and responsibility, or lack of belief in the responsibilty that a number of parents have, we can't. I'm ready for College, been accepted to all of them, except one, which makes absolutely no sense..

But I don't want to go to school, because I don't think it'd help me get where I want to be.

Learning languages for me isn't hard at all, but I still need to go though with school so i can get my degree in translating. All I really have to do after that is take some night classes wherever and I'm straight for learning other languages with no pressure.

It's really helpful. I've always been a technophile, always been on the internet. I used to sell stuff on eBay, and Craigslist, and opposed to having to wait on getting home, I'd receive the e-mail straight to my phone, and oftentimes would be able to set up a deal or rendezvous point while I was out.

Even now, when communicating with people, it just makes things simpler.

Thats the only way I check my email now. It really comes in handy when your in college or even just on the go. The only time I check my email on the computer is if I know I have something I need to Download.

Because society doesn't take you serious straight out of High School. You have to get a piece of paper to let them know you mean srs bsns, if you don't then you either have to S some D to get where you are today or...have a piece of paper to omit the gayness. As far traveling I have done that, and I have done hourly 9-5 jobs out of high school, and decided it's retarded to just work that lifestyle, in the end a College education is well worth the investment it's just a pain in the ass.

Dont start your college career unless you are ready to enjoy it. Most of my classes involve furthering yourself into a subject you have only glanced over previously. If you can involve yourself in your studies you will enjoy your time in the institution. You can either pay for something you despise or cope with the fact that it may be a little more difficult than studying note cards the night before a test. Also, get to know your professors, they have been in your situation and can relate to you a great deal more than your highschool gym teacher.

Dont bitch if you are paying for school, and dont be a dumbass and not attain HOPE scholarship.
