This is about my 5th 240 that i have installed a radio to and i've never had this problem. I have a pioneer head unit that i've taken out of my other s13 and put in my new one using a snap on harness adapter.

the problem is everything works but i don't get any sound. i have aftermarket speakers hooked up( which it's probably a problem with the stock speaker amps but im not sure)

i tried bypassing it but it still doesnt give me sound

i've checked most of the wiring it seems fine. (i used wired connectors)

help will be greatly appricitated

alright so i found the problem. a few wires on the snap on harness doesnt coordinate with the factory harness

so i had to bypass the amp turn on, which was a light green wire on the factor plug, to the one on the radio.

also on the small plug (which was suppose to be all the rear speaker) there was a blue wire stoping the speakers from working.

when it was suppose to be a violet wire instead. so i bypassed that wire as well. i dunno this was really weird.

thanks for the help though!

thats like telling me the color of my car. the first thing i hooked up was that wire. so go ahead and drive your 240 off a loading dock or something.
