well i just wanted to vent some and get some feedback...

Me and my girlfriend of over 3 years recently broke up the thursday after valentines day because she didnt want to be in a relationship anymore and she was losing feelings for me. it came as a shock to me because we were doing fine. however in january we took a break but we still talked and i still saw her and we still kissed and stuff. we were pretty much together. we officially got back together on valentines day.

well one day when i get off work and im doing my hw she sends me and IM that says, "ive been thinking lately, and my feelings for you have changed and they are not like they use to be, and i dont know if it will ever be the same again.. i know this is kind of shocking to you, but ive just been thinking.. so i dont think we should talk for a while.. im sorry..."

this came as a complete shock to me and i was hurt and we talked some days but less and less each day. She goes out with her friends all the time and every weekend. shes never home and she always tells me shes just hanging out with her friends. Well turns out shes been getting drunk and high some of those times and it kills me to know that she lied to me. I love her so much and i want to be with her, but she just doesnt want to be with me anymore and i dont know what i did. she didnt tell me why she was losing feelings for me and she doesnt want to see me or talk to me. and when i do see her or talk to her she seems like she still has those feelings but doesnt want to have them. i mean we will hug, kiss, play fight, tickle each other, and all that but if it gets too into it she'll stop. and say she doesnt have feelings for me when i can clearly see that she does. i just think that she wants to go out and part and see other guys, but she assures me its because she doesnt have feelings for me, but i know that if we talk and hang out she'll get those feelings back because they're still there and i see it.

We dont talk for a while and i try to go about my own business, but its so hard not to talk to someone after they've been in your life for over 3 years. i missed her so damn much and i was a wreck.

Now it turns out that shes been talking to some el salvadorian dude at her school and they're hooking up. They've already kissed and they're going out this weekend. She said she didnt want to be in a relationship and she acted like she didnt care about me and she was annoyed by me. she seemed like she didnt care at all. Now this guys hows up in the picture and im crushed. im pissed at the same time, but i hate seeing her with this dude. I dont know what to do. i love her so much and i want to be with her but i feel like theres nothing i can do. this pain inside just hurts so bad and i feel like shit all the time. i try to play it off like its cool but i cant eat, i cant sleep, i cant focus, im all messed up.

so tell me 240atlanta. what should i do?

Move on dude, she seemed like she was looking for excuses, you just can't explain how women act sometimes, if they feel like they need to move on there's nothing you can really do except grasp what they're trying to do and just move on, show her you are the better person and do it.

I'll say I've been single for 3 years because of crap like this (investing time in something then finally having to move on) and just said whatever, I'm not dealing with it. Concentrate on other things and it'll get your mind off of it.

I'm talking to someone right now but it's nothing serious. Seriousness usually creates problems like this. In all honesty dude when you are young you don't know what you want. You don't know what you want til you see what's out there.

it sounds like she wants to play the field for a few years. alot of girls do this when going to college. they want someone to be there for them durring "stressfull highschool drama years" and after that they ditch that person to the curb and go screw around in college. shit happens all the time. my brother got dumped. my brothers buddy got dumped for college. and actually another buddy of mine had the same thing done to him.

i know you love this chick. it seems like you do, you at minimum have very strong feelings for her haha. but really, do yourself a favor and see other girls.

if i could give you any advise. id tell you to talk to alot of your highschool chick friends you lost contact with. hangout with them. go get some female interaction. non sexual just talk to chicks alot. and youll probalby get over your ex.

more than likely, anywhere between 2 months and 10 years, she might come crawling back to you for a steady relationship. but if she really loves you she wouldnt go experiment for more than a little while. ive wanted to see other girls before, my ex has wanted to see other guys while i was dating or on a break with her. my current girlfriend has been curious about dating other guys. it happens its normal. but in the end if you two love eachother you should be togather.

but dont weap too long about it if its not. becuase youre wasting your youth days. go have fun and meet chicks!
