Brembo blanks are your best bang for your buck.

If you are wanting your best stopping power for a pad that isnt a tree race pad you are going to want to go with Hawk HP+ or Hawk HPS pads.

One of the best mods that you can do for your brakes that isnt very expensive is SS lines.

I am not sure what is safe to run though an S13s brake system, but I use super blue for fluid. That stuff is fucking awesome.

Super blue is a german dot 5 brake fluid.

It is racing fluid, and I am not sure who makes it but I am pretty sure it isnt endless.

q45 brakes are really nice if you want good brakes and dont have an arm and a leg to spend

The stock rotors in any form work fine unless you're running it hard and you've got lots of power. Most of the setups I do are HPS pads and either blanks or slotteds of any good name brand. SS lines are a great thing since yours most likely are well overdue for replacement anyways. Super Blue fluid is made by ATE and works in nearly all brake systems. Tire Rack carries it and they also carry the Hawk HPS pads so you can just get it all in one stop, they also carry Goodrich brake lines. One stop and you'll have a nice brake system without spending a lot.

So would Brembo blanks with Hawk HPS pads be a good daily driver/mountain run setup for a reasonable price? I need new brakes too on my S14. I'm also thinking about SS lines.

Yes, blank rotors and hawk pads suffice. Blanks are fine, don't worry about drilled, ss lines, etc etc etc. SS lines are ok but just saying most people won't need that much stopping power.

I have slotted rotors, SS lines and Hawk HPS pads. More than enough stopping power. What are your engine mods?

I have duralast rotors LOL and HPS pads. I love my HPS pads. Been running HPS for 2 years

I too would like to get a set of brembo blanks. Ideally Id like to get Q45 brakes with Brembo Blanks and HPS's.

Duke, are you running HP+ or HPS? Also, have any of you guys tried EBC Yellow or Red? They don't make HPS or HP+ for my future mountain run car :(

I didnt end up trying the EBC pads, but ya I am running HP+ on the front and HPS on the rear cas they dont make the + for my rear brakes.
