So I guess i was lookin at the wrong wiring diagram, or i just suck at wireing, but either way i have a problem.

I melted the blue wire that goes the the 12v source for the radio. How do I go about replacing that wire? I assume it goes back behind the fuse box, so its not the easiest thing to get to.

this is in my s14 by the way.

i caught it in time so none of the other wires in the bundle were damaged thank god.

Yeah, you'll likely have to re run a wire from the back of the fuze box. Just look on the fuze box and find which one is the radio fuze, then confirm on the back of the fuze box that its the correct color, then replace and run it as closely as you can to the origional location... You could even use the old wire to pull the new wire through if its not too tightly bundled...

pretty simple, just a shitload of wires to deal with. just take your time and do it right or you will be back there doing it again, and you don't want that. good luck:goodjob:

how do i get to the back of the fuse box?

it seems impossible

or can i just use the 12 v source from the cig lighter as long as i run a 10a fuse?
