Z32 brakes, on a Spec V...
Are the Z32 4 pot calipers any better than my 1 pot stock brakes?
I am going to have to interigate this guy...

Ty Scato...
The question is do they make a rotor that will fit it without all that work.

Nah they had to machine a normal stock spec v rotor.
We have an 11" rotor, however the Z32 NA rotors are only 10.75" with a different offset on the rotors.
Project without machine shop work included costs about $260...
For about $50-60 more I could get a pair of used brembos that use a 13" rotor and not have to mod my rotors everytime I got new ones...
It is an interesting and different project, but after looking at all the work he had to do for the rotors, meh.

I would think about it if I didnt havent machine the rotors down a 1\4"...
Cas how much are Z32 N\A calipers running now days.

so I hear that ppl that do the skyline and z32 brakes end up sucking because they have to disable the ABS and end up locking them up? I dunno. I know I didnt use ABS until I locked em up in the rain on the track and went off twice. Something to think about if you want ABS or not.

Supposedly my car has ABS, however I have NEVER had ABS actually turn on. Even when slipping on ice and rain... lol

haha... Not really, I mean if you actually have a really good ABS system you can just slam on the brakes and you can put some serious stopping power down without having to worry about lock ups.

I agree with both of you. I prefer not to have it because I entered a hairpin way too fast one time and it kicked on and I couldnt slow down worth shit. But after I went to the Lil' Tally in the rain and locked em up from 90 mph into the first turn and ended up doing a little rallying I decided it'd be best to put the fuse back in.

There was a place selling redrilled 300zx rotors for 4 lug. They weren't super pricey IIRC.

If I am not mistaking the 300zx rotors are a different offset than the sentra ones.

You're dumb. ABS is useful in certain conditions, I'm not talking about granny driving/newbie driving, either.

Yeah about 95% of drivers out there today would wreck if it wasn't for ABS. Good for driving, bad for racing.
Those are some throwback tires.
