As some of you know my SR messed up at the last Turner event. I thought when I installed my RAS I over-torqued the cam cap bolts and it caused the cam cap to lift and my rocker arm came off and bent a valve.
well that's not what happend. And I wouldn't have even know what happened unless I took it to Sammy. He thought what I thought actually happened and didnt realize what actually did happen until he took the head off. He convinced me to go ahead and build the head so my motor could take more boost safer in the future.
We ordered a Cosworth metal head gasket, ARP head studs, Brian crower valve springs and retainers.
Anyway, when he took the head off a peice of aluminum from my intercooler (from a previous incident where I broke my intercooler putting the car on the trailer) was stuck in the valve causing it to stay open and caused the rocker arm to come off (crazy right?) the peice was about an inch long, he saved it for me to see.
Anyway, I told sam to work on my car on his spare time and do other cars first since my car is a track car. He was like ok. But he still got it done fast.
Anyway I got the car back 2 days ago and it runs amazing, feels brand new. I watched him put the head back together and he was so careful and took his time, he put lucas additive on everything has he went. He really knows his stuff.
Great price, great quality work!
